Looking for a place to stay with a killer view in Florence, Italy?  Look no further because THIS bed and breakfast offers charm, a hospitable host, and a bucket list worthy balcony view of the Duomo!

It’ll cost you about €166/night (roughly about $187/night), which is reasonable especially in Florence, where rates get steep thanks to it being a world-famous destination (you’re in the heart of the Italian Renaissance!)

My husband and I visited in mid-September for my birthday and it was a great time to visit Florence.  Still busy, but definitely not as crowded as it would be during peak season (June, July, and August).

Via Oriuolo 49, Duomo, Florence, 50122, Italy

Cost: €166 euros/night

This comes out to approximately $187/night.

We stayed for two nights and paid a total of € 332, including taxes and fees.  (Approximately $374.63)

1 Deluxe Double Room with Balcony
10 % VAT is included.
€ 3 City tax per person per night is included.

Ideal For:

Couples, Two-person trips

The B&B host, Luisa, is attentive, friendly and hospitable!  She even helped carry our luggage upstairs.

Our room was clean and the location was SUPERB.  We were close to all major landmarks and when you’re in Florence, you really don’t need a car unless you plan on exploring outside the city.

Some of the best gelaterias, pizzerias, museums, cathedrals, and iconic landmarks were less than a 10-minute walk from this B&B!  Not to mention the incredible feeling of waking up to THIS epic view of the Duomo.

Other pros:

  • comfortable bed!
  • complimentary snacks
  • complimentary espresso drink/tea and pastry
(Luisa gave us daily vouchers for a complimentary coffee or tea drink and a pastry at a cafe located 2-3 doors down)
Breakfast right in front of the Duomo! We got espresso macchiatos and flaky croissants with Luisa’s breakfast vouchers

  • Luisa was always available when we needed her; Easy and fast communication
She also ordered us a taxi for our ride to the airport
We walked everywhere from our room.  You definitely don’t need a car as you’re basically in the heart of Florence.
  • The iconic view!
    Can’t say this enough.

  • No elevator/lift
The building has an elevator but it’s available for private use only for those with a key.  Luisa and her guests do not have access to this elevator, unfortunately.
This wasn’t a huge issue for us because we packed pretty light and Luisa was kind enough to offer to help us with our bags.  Our room was on the second floor.
  • It IS centrally located, so expect some noise especially if you visit during peak season.
We visited in mid-September and we didn’t have any issues with noise nor did we have any trouble sleeping.  However, if you plan on staying at this B&B and you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs
